I know a handful of you have probably already received an email from me explaining this opportunity, but I wanted to reach out to all of you to see if you could help get the word out that the 2021 Sustainability Scholarship deadline is May 1st! Please pass this along to colleagues, co-workers, students, veteran sustainability experts and newbies- as long as they work in/study sustainability and have never attended the BOMA Annual Conference before, they are eligible:
Do you know someone with serious sustainability credentials who has never been a BOMA Annual Conference Attendee? Working on a project with a rising sustainability star? Studying the field and interested to learn more about the commercial real estate industry's role? The BOMA Annual Conference in Boston is the premier event for next level sustainability practices with three days of education tracks filled with high performing buildings particulars, building operations and management practices, and technology and innovation ideas for you to bring home. BOMA is looking to recruit the next generation of sustainability leaders who understand the value of greening existing building operations and shares BOMA's vision of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
BOMA International, with support from a grant from BOMA International Cornerstone Partner Yardi, is proud to announce this scholarship opportunity. The BOMA/Yardi Sustainability Scholarship will be awarded to a select group of students or professionals studying or working within sustainability who share BOMA's vision of energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
The scholarship covers registration to the 2021 BOMA International Conference & Expo, as well as up to $1,000 for associated costs, such as travel and lodging. Scholarship recipients will also be paired with an industry sustainability mentor and attend both a special breakfast session and the TOBY Awards Banquet in addition to the full conference registration. There is no age or experience requirement for the scholarship, but applicants cannot have attended the BOMA International Conference & Expo previously. Applicants do not need to be BOMA members.
This scholarship is intended to connect sustainability-minded individuals with the broad array of opportunities offered at BOMA International's annual conference through the education sessions, networking opportunities and products and solutions featured on the trade show floor
