Thank you to those of you who were able to participate in our discussions this week during Winter Business Meeting. It was great to meet you all in person.

This is a reminder that stakeholder comments on the White House proposed definition of Zero Emissions Buildings are due February 5th, or please email BOMA International at govt@boma.org to provide your feedback in our response. Please see below or the attachment for the current proposed definition. The document is less than 4 pages and will likely be a valuable read.

Today the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced a National Definition of a Zero Emissions Building. Many of you were involved in discussions regarding the proposed definition back in January and the development of BOMA International's comments on the definition. I have attached a copy of the full definition for those who would like to review it. To view the press release, visit DOE Announces National Definition of a Zero Emissions Building | Department of Energy. I will continue to share further updates as they develop.

    Best wishes,

    Cameron
